Billings Farm & Museum Features Vermont Humanities Council Program: Teddy Roosevelt: Mind, Body, and Spirit

WOODSTOCK, VT … Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's Rural Heritage, will host the Vermont Humanities Council program Teddy Roosevelt: Mind, Body, and Spirit, on President's Day, Monday, February 15 at 3:00 p.m. in the Farm & Museum's theater. The program is free and open to the public, and accessible to people with disabilities.

Meet "Teddy Roosevelt…" in a 50-minute, one-man performance featuring Theodore Roosevelt's own words. A formidable achiever, Roosevelt's accomplishments included soldier, author, naturalist, historian, statesman, Nobel Prize-winner and President of the United States. Portrayed by actor Ted Zalewski, the program emphasizes the forces that shaped our 26th President's personality and leadership style – our nation's first “cowboy President.” Mr. Zalewski has performed Teddy Roosevelt at the White House, the Smithsonian Institution, and the National Archives. The presentation will be followed by a Presidential receiving line.

Admission is free; please reserve in advance by email us at reservations@billingsfarm.org or by telephone: 802-457-2355.

“Teddy Roosevelt…” is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Vermont Humanities Council.
