Billings Farm & Museum's 4th Annual Cheese & Dairy Celebration

WOODSTOCK, VERMONT... Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's rural heritage, announces the 4th Annual Cheese & Dairy Celebration on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Celebrate Vermont's rich dairy heritage during this two-day event, by meeting Vermont cheesemakers, sampling their delicious artisan cheeses, and taking part in engaging dairy education programs.
The Cheese & Dairy Celebration will showcase many of Vermont's artisan cheesemakers, who will offer cheese samples, discuss their products, and have cheese on hand for purchase. Visitors can Judge Jerseys with the farm manager to improve their bovine knowledge, participate in a dairy scavenger hunt, name the calf contest. New this year: Inside-Out Cow (have fun learning the body parts of a cow) and Cow Make-Over (learn what it takes to groom a cow being judged in a show). Especially for the children: cranking fresh chocolate ice cream and making dairy headbands and moo masks.
The operating dairy farm, farm life exhibits, and the restored and furnished farmhouse are included in the entrance fee.
Admission: adults: $12.00; over 62: $11.00; children 5-15: $6.00; 3-4: $3.00; under 3: free.
