2010 "People's Choice" Quilt Awards Announced by Billings Farm & Museum

WOODSTOCK, VERMONT....Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's rural heritage, announces the results of the "2010 People's Choice" awards for the 24th Annual Quilt Exhibition held July 31 through September 26, 2010. The results:

FULL SIZE QUILTS

1st Place: A Heartwarmer Quilt,
Heart of the Land Quilters' Guild, Heart Warmers.

2nd Place: 40 Years and Counting, Susan Hall, Hartland. At the exhibition opening the Curator's Choice Award went to Susan's quilt.

3rd Place: Geese and the Furrows, Susan Sarcia, Woodstock.

SMALL/MEDIUM SIZE QUILTS

1st Place: Off The Beaten Path, Donna R. Miles, Woodstock.

2nd Place: Crop Circle: Etchilhampton, England, 11 August 2002, Joanne Shapp, North Pomfret.

3rd Place: Awaiting Spring, Elizabeth Allen, Windsor.
