25th Annual Quilt Exhibition Awards Announced by Billings Farm & Museum
WOODSTOCK, VERMONT.... Billings Farm & Museum announces the quilter awards presented by curator Bob Benz at the opening of the 25th Annual Quilt Exhibition on July 29th. Susan Damone Balch of South Reading, VT, received both the Curator's Choice Award and a Juror's Choice Award (presented by juror Mary K. Ryan) for her exquisite quilt, Apache Trout.

Two additional Juror's Choice awards were presented; Theresa Cable of Hartford, Vermont, was recognized for her quilt, Baskets, by juror Judith Reilly; and Micah's Crazy Quilt, a group quilt made by Virginia Glass Schlabach with grandson Micah North Schlabach and 12 other quilters, was selected by juror Faith Evans.
The Quilt Exhibition is open daily through September 25, and features a colorful display of quilts made by quilters in Windsor County, daily activities and programs, and the 25th anniversary exhibit: Quilters Then & Now: Looking Back on 25 Years. Admission includes the operating dairy farm, orientation and farm life exhibits, the restored and furnished 1890 Farm House, plus daily programs and activities.
