2011 "People's Choice" Quilt Awards Announced by Billings Farm & Museum

WOODSTOCK, VERMONT....Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's rural heritage, announces the results of the "2011 People's Choice" awards for the 25th Annual Quilt Exhibition held July 30 through September 25, 2011. The results:

FULL SIZE QUILTS

1st Place: Apache Trout,
Susan Damone Balch, South Reading. At the exhibition opening the Curator's Choice Award went to Susan's quilt.

2nd Place: The Garden of Happiness, Marcia Peterson, Hartford.

3rd Place: See Saw What Goes Up Comes Down, Elaine Hart, Hartland.

SMALL/MEDIUM SIZE QUILTS

1st Place: Witch Hobble, Lynne Croswell, Ludlow.

2nd Place: Ties That Bind, Donna R. Miles, Woodstock.

3rd Place: Best Buds, Paula M. Audsley, Barnard and Janet Maxham, Woodstock.
